It all started 20 years ago, actually 24 to be exact, when a single mom had to find a way to support her three children. She was an artist at heart and took great pleasure and pride in crafting sterling silver necklaces, earrings and rings that she would sell at local art shows, festivals, and fairs. The demand for her handcrafted jewelry quickly grew and she was faced with a dilemma. How can I continue to craft jewelry that still meets my high expectations, sell the items in the time left over and still support my family?

She started her search for handcrafted items, mostly jewelry crafted on the reservations by Navajo and Zuni Indians in the beginning, and grew to include Pueblo Indian pottery, Hopi and Navajo kachinas and Zapotec Indian rugs and mats. The business continued to grow and it had to have a name. What better name to call the business than what mattered the most, family. In 1979, J. Marco Catalog was born (J. Marco is a combination of her three children's names). Through constant hard work, the continued support of family, friends and customers, this artist turned business woman put all three kids through college.

Through the requests of our loyal customers, our unique products have changed to now encompass stylish women’s apparel, jewelry, shoes and other unique accessories. Today J. Marco Catalog is thriving and the woman who started it all, along with her three children, still search for and design unique apparel and accessories for women all over the United States.
